Corporate Number extension for Zoho CRM
This integration is supported for users in the US, and JP DCs.
The Address Information of a company (also called as a corporate account) such as Billing Street and Billing Code, will be filled automatically once the 法人番号 (Corporate Number) field is entered in Zoho CRM.
The challenge
- There can be multiple companies in Japan with the same Account Name.
- In some cases, the Address Information of the wrong company can be updated in the address fields automatically.
The solution
- In order to overcome the above described challenge, we have introduced the 法人番号 (Corporate Number) field in Zoho CRM.
What is Corporate Number?
A corporate number is unique for every company in Japan. An extension called Corporate Number for Zoho CRM uses the corporate number to identify a corporate account distinctly and fill their address information automatically in Zoho CRM.
Steps to be followed
Follow the steps below to ensure correct address information entry for a Corporate Account in Zoho CRM.
Step 1: Installing the Corporate Number extension
- Navigate to CRM Setup > Marketplace > All.
- Click All Extensions, then browse for and click Corporate Number for Zoho CRM.
- Click Install Now.
- Select the following checkboxes:
- I have agreed to the Terms of Service.
- I authorize Corporate Number for Zoho CRM to access and process my data as required.
- Click Continue.
- Select an option in Choose Users/ Profiles.
- Click Confirm.
The extension will now be installed for the specified users.
Step 2: Data entry in Zoho CRM
Once the extension is installed, you can use both the 法人番号 (Corporate Number) and the Account Name field to ensure that the accurate address information is filled.
Method 1: Using the 法人番号 (Corporate Number) field
- Log in to Zoho CRM and navigate to the Accounts module.
- Click the edit option towards the left side of the desired account.
- Enter the unique corporate number in the 法人番号 (Corporate Number) field.
- Click the 住所情報を取得 button at the top right corner of the webpage.
Now, the accurate Address Information of the corporate account will be automatically filled.
Method 2: Using the Account Name field
- Log in to Zoho CRM and navigate to Accounts module.
- Click the edit option towards the left side of the desired account.
- Enter the Account Name of the corporate account.
- Click the 住所情報を取得 button at the top-right corner of the webpage.
- A new window will open, displaying the list of accounts with the same Account Name. Choose the desired one.
- Click Submit.
The accurate Address Information of the selected account will be automatically filled.
Steps to uninstall the extension
- Navigate to Setup > Marketplace > All > Installed Extensions.
- Search for the Corporate Number for Zoho CRM extension and click Uninstall.
- Click Ok to confirm.
