PlanMyLeave for Zoho Directory

Prerequisites

PlanMyLeave administrator privileges

Configure SAML in Zoho One/Directory

If you're a Zoho One user:

Sign in to Zoho One , then click Directory in the left menu.
Go to Marketplace, then click Browse Applications.
Use the search bar to find and install PlanMyLeave.

If you're a Zoho Directory user:

Sign in to Zoho Directory , then click Admin Panel in the left menu.
Go to Applications, then click Add Application.
Use the search bar to find and add PlanMyLeave.

Name your app and enter Subdomain.

Note: To find your Subdomain, sign in to PlanMyLeave and go to SETUP. Go to SAML Settings under Security Management. Your Subdomain will be first part of the PlanMyLeave EntityID. For example, if your EntityID is https://zylker.snowhr, then "zylker" is your Subdomain.

If you want to test the SAML configuration before allowing users to access PlanMyLeave, uncheck Display app to users. You can later make the app visible to all users.
Click Add.
Click the Single Sign-On tab.
Click Service Provider Details to check and verify the SP details. You can also edit them if needed.
Click Identity Provider Details, then copy the Sign-in URL, Sign-out URL, and the X.509 Certificate.

Configure SAML in PlanMyLeave

Sign in to PlanMyLeave as an administrator.
Click SETUP, then click SAML Settings under Security Management.
Click icon in the top-right corner of SAML Settings.
Paste the copied Sign-in URL, Sign-out URL, and X.509 Certificate in the Login URL, Logout URL, and Certificates fields respectively.
Select Yes for Is Enabled field.
Click Save.

SCIM Provisioning

SCIM Provisioning creates, updates, and deletes users in PlanMyLeave whenever they are created, updated, or deleted in Zoho Directory. This simplifies user management, allowing you to manage users across all applications from a single place—Zoho Directory. Learn how to enable it.

Test the SAML connection

Return to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
Go to Applications, then click PlanMyLeave.
Click Assign Users, choose yourself from the list, then click Assign.
Click on the icon next to the app's name. If everything is working, you should be automatically signed in and taken to PlanMyLeave's homepage.

Make app visible to all users
After successfully testing SSO, you can make PlanMyLeave available for all users to access from their My Apps pages.

To make PlanMyLeave visible to all users:

Sign in to the Zoho Directory Admin Panel.
Go to Applications, then click PlanMyLeave
Click Unhide.

You can now access PlanMyLeave from Zoho Directory's My Apps page.
