1. From View Contacts section

1. Click Contacts from the Navigation Toolbar to the left and select View Contacts.
   
2. Click the Filter icon at top right to open the Segment Filter slide-in.
   
   
   
   
3. Click the Advanced tab.
   
4. Under Criteria, choose Subscription Type. Choose 'is' as the Modifier and select Non-Marketing as the Value.
   
5. Click Apply. If needed, you can use the Save as Segment option to save this filter as a segment.
   
   
   
   
6. Once done, select the desired contacts using checkbox present to left of each contact.
   
7. Click Change Subscription Type button at top-right.
   
   
   
   
8. In the pop-up that appears, select the subscription type as Marketing.
   
   
   
   
9. Click Proceed.
   

2. Using Segments

1. Click Contacts from the Navigation Toolbar to the left and select Segments.
   
2. Click Create Segment at top right.
   
3. Provide a name for the segment.
   
4. Under Criteria, choose Subscription Type. Choose 'is' as the Modifier and select Non-Marketing as the Value.
   
5. Click Save and Proceed.
   
   
   
   
6. Click the Contacts tab of this segment.
   
7. Select the desired contacts using checkbox present to left of each contact.
   
   
   
   
8. Click Change Subscription Type button at top-right.
   
9. In the pop-up that appears, select the subscription type as Marketing.
   
   
   
   
10. Click Proceed.
