Source Boosters
Zoho Recruit’s Source Boosters allow you to search and import candidates directly from top resume databases like Monster, Foundit, CareerBuilder, Resume Library (USA), CV-Library (UK), Nexxt, and Dice—without switching tabs or logging in separately.

How to configure source boosters?
Before you search candidate profiles on the integrated job boards' database, you will have to configure them as a source booster. Zoho Recruit gives eight options to choose from while configuring source boosters, namely;
- Monster
- foundit (India)
- foundit (Gulf)
- foundit (APAC)
- Resume-Library
- CV-Library
- Career Builder
- Dice
- Nexxt
To configure a source booster:
- Navigate to Setup > Job Board Hub > Source Boosters and select the source booster of your choice.
- In the pop-up that is displayed, based on the source booster you select, you will have select a region, enter your account credentials, your job board account manager's email, etc.
- Click Save/Proceed when you are done. The source booster will be configured based on the process associated with the job board.
Multi-account support
In Zoho Recruit, you can have five accounts configured for each source booster. Only users with the Administrator profile can perform this action. Non-admins will be using the account marked with the Primary tag.
Note: The first user to enable a source booster becomes its primary admin. If their account is later deleted or removed, Zoho Recruit will automatically assign the next available user as the new primary admin for that source booster integration.
How to search for candidates?
With Source Boosters, your sourcing process becomes simpler and more consistent. You can connect to multiple job boards, apply filters to narrow down top candidates, and bring them into your ATS with just a few clicks. Whether you're hiring for niche roles or scaling quickly, this integrated workflow saves time and ensures a streamlined experience across platforms.
Here’s how the process works, regardless of the source booster:
- Go to the Candidates module and click Source Boosters. From the drop-down, select a source booster (Monster, CareerBuilder, etc.).
- Fill in the basic search criteria (Eg: Job Title, Location, etc.)
- (Optional) Click Advanced Search to add more filters:
- Education Level
- Salary / Compensation
- Job Type
- Skills or Job Title (depending on the board)
- Click Find Resumes (or) Search.
- Use the left-panel filters to narrow your results:
- Years of Work Experience
- Location / Radius
- Resume Last Updated
- Education
- Salary
- Job Type
- Willingness to Travel or Work Authorization (varies by platform)
- Select one or more candidates and click Add to Zoho Recruit (top-right) to import the candidate into your database.
Note: Resume-Library and CV-Library are different than the other source boosters. Refer the section below for more details.
Platform-Specific Details
Each resume database includes its own set of credentials, search options, and filters. Here's what to expect with each one:
Monster
- Requires a CAT Encode Token (entered once on first use).
- Advanced Search includes:
- Education Level
- Salary Expectations
- Job Type
- Left-panel filter includes Willingness to Travel.
CareerBuilder
- Does not require login credentials.
- Displays a Match Score for each candidate.
- Advanced Search includes:
- Education Level
- Salary Expectations
- Job Type
Resume-Library
- No login credentials needed.
- Search results will show partial details of candidates.
- You can choose to log in and unlock resumes using credits to view full profiles.
- Uses Refine Search (left pane) to drill down results.
CV-Library
- No login credentials required to initiate a search.
- Search results display partial candidate details by default.
- You can choose to log in and unlock resumes using credits to view full profiles.
Nexxt
- Requires Nexxt login credentials.
- Advanced Search allows filtering by:
- Current Job Title
- Skills
- Unique filters include:
- Distance from Selected City
- Work Authorization
Dice
- Requires Dice login credentials.
- Advanced Search includes:
- Current Job Title
- Skills
- Unique filters include:
- Compensation
- Work Authorization
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can I use multiple resume databases at once?
No, each search is specific to the source booster you pick. However, you can perform searches across multiple source boosters using Resume Harvester.
Q: Will imported candidates be tagged with their source?
Yes, the candidate source will automatically reflect the resume database they were imported from.
Q: What if I import a candidate who already exists in my database?
Zoho Recruit will notify you of duplicates, and you can choose whether to update or skip the import.
