Job Opening Matches

Zoho Recruit, powered by Zia's advanced artificial intelligence capabilities, matches job openings by comprehending candidates' profiles. With Zia's assistance, you can streamline the job matching process, saving valuable time and effort. Instead of manually sifting through countless job openings, you'll be presented with a curated list of highly relevant opportunities.

This deep understanding enables Zia to identify "the perfect job" by meticulously matching candidates' skills and qualifications with the requirements of your job openings. Zia helps grade and rank the matches accordingly, each graded with a score ranging from 0 to 100, reflecting the degree of match with your candidate's profile. Zia provides options to quickly associate candidates with matching job openings individually or in bulk. Additionally, you can refine the job matching criteria by specifying keywords, desired skills, and job categories to streamline the search results. This way, Zia ensures that you can efficiently identify the most suitable job openings for your candidates, eliminating the time and efforts spent on manual screening.
Availability  
Permissions Required: Only users with the “Associate Candidate to Job Opening” permission can access this feature.
Edition Required: Accessible for the Professional and Enterprise plans of the Staffing Agency edition, the Enterprise plan of the Corporate HR edition in Zoho Recruit, as well as for users under Zoho One and People Plus.

Matching Job Openings  

To match job openings with your candidates,
  1. Go to the Candidates module.
  2. Click on the candidate you want to match jobs with.
  3. Click on the icon.
A list of jobs that match with the candidate (if any) will be displayed.
Note:
  1. Only a maximum of 20 matching jobs will be displayed.
  2. Jobs are displayed by the descending order of their Match Score.
  3. A job’s match score is calculated by matching its requirements with the candidates’ Skills and Qualifications.
  4. If one or more Primary skills are added to the job opening's Required Skills field, only candidates who all of those skills are displayed in the match results.

Quick Associate

  1. Hover over the job’s card view and click on the Quick Associate icon.
  2. Click on Associate.

Bulk Associate

  1. In the list of matching jobs, click on the Associate All button to select all the jobs displayed in the list.
  2. To Select/Unselect the jobs you wish to associate the candidate with, click on the checkboxes in their card view and click on Associate Now.
  3. You can add comments and/or notes in this screen. Click on the Associate button to associate them with the candidate.

Quick View

  1. To know more about the job opening, click on the Quick View icon.
  2. From the Job Opening's Quick View, you can view the job opening details, job description, notes, timeline, and attachments.
     

Refine Job Opening Matches

Streamline your Job Openings search for a Candidate with the Refine Match feature:
  1. From the list of matching job openings, click Refine Match.
  2. Enter relevant keywords, desired skills, and job category to narrow down the matches.
  3. Click Search to execute the refined Job Opening matching.
  4. Associate the most suitable Job Openings with the Candidate from the refined matches.
  5. You can clear or edit the Refine Match criteria at any time to align the matches with your requirements.
  1. Edit Refined Match: Use this option to modify the existing refinement criteria like keywords, skills, or job category. Zia will then update the matches based on your revised preferences.
  2. Clear Refined Match: This option reverts to the original set of matches provided by Zia's algorithm before any refinement criteria were applied.
Prerequisites  

Before you start matching job openings with your candidates, make sure that;
  1. You have job openings present in your Zoho Recruit database.
  2. Your job openings match with the candidate’s domain and industry of choice.
    For example, if the candidate has skills related to Sales & Marketing and all your job openings are for Software Developers, Zia would be unable to find any matches.
  3. The candidate resume should have skills listed for Zia to find matching job openings.
