There are instances when you will have to schedule more than one temp to work at the same time. Instead of scheduling their shifts individually, Zoho Workerly allows you to schedule them in bulk. Let's take a look. Once you create a job in the Jobs module, you can easily create bulk shifts with roster view in the shift scheduling board:
Navigate to the required job details page, and click Scheduled Temps listed on the left panel.
Matching temps will be displayed in Roster View. You can also further refine using advanced search and save the search criteria for future use.
From the list of temps, select the right ones for the job. Click Actions, and select Create Shift.
Review the details in the pop-up, and click Publish & Notify. Upon clicking that, temps will be notified about the newly scheduled shifts.
To edit and delete the scheduled shifts:
You can edit or delete shifts any time before the shift starts. To do so:
Navigate to the required job details page, and click Scheduled Temps listed on the left panel.
All scheduled temps will be displayed. Click any temp schedule to view its details.
To edit the shift:
Click Edit to edit details.
When finished, click Publish & Notify. The shift is now updated, and the temp will be notified.
To delete the shift:
Click Delete. You will be asked to confirm the deletion.
Note: You can choose to delete either the shift for the selected date or all repeated shifts created. Also, we have provided with an option to notify temps on cancelled shifts.
Click on the desired delete option. The shifts will be deleted, and temps will be notified.
To bulk delete shifts:
Click Actions > Delete Shifts. You will see a pop-up of the selected temps and another field to select the shift dates.
Enter the duration and click Delete Shifts. This option helps you delete multiple shifts in a particular duration instead of deleting them one by one.
