GPS Geo-fencing

Zoho Workerly makes it possible now to set geo-boundaries within which your temps should mark their check-in and check-out times. If you would like to define a location range within which temps should mark their shift check-ins, check-outs, and break hours, this is possible by adding geo-restrictions. You can set a range on the map and monitor if your temps were inside the designated area when they checked-in and checked-out.

Before defining a geo-fence,

Go to Setup > Time Logs > Timeclock
Under GPS Location, select your preference. If you want your temps to adhere to the geo-restrictions all the time, select ON. OPTIONAL gives the temp the access to not share his/her location while checking-in and checking-out.

Setting up the geo-fence,

Create a new client from the Clients module
Under the Address Information, click Locate on Map
Using the tools above, draw a geo-fence on the map. Ensure you are marking the fence correctly as this will be the designated area where your temps should carry out their shifts.
Click Save.

Note: You can even add geo-fences to existing clients by editing their address information.

After a temp's shift is complete, you will be able to see the entire Time Log of the temp. The pointers marked in red are the times the temp was outside the designated geo-fence. Clicking on View in map gives a better picture.

Note: Periodically, Zoho Workerly would automatically save and display the temp's location (only upon the temp's location approval). This location is retrieved only between check-in and check-out and not during the temp's break hours.

This way, you'd know the location of your temp at those intervals of time.
