Are workflow emails triggered from API
I have a workflow with an alert rule that when a new lead is created, send an email to the owner and someone else that i add in the other field. This works fine when I add the lead directly with in Zoho. However, when I call the api and add a lead, the lead is created the same way but no email is sent. Do the alerts work when triggered from the api? Thanks

Tasks and Activities not uploading ZOHO CRM
Good day, I've received several reports that some tasks and activities are not being uploaded when the team members/sales rep send them, I.E. if they send 9 tasks they only see 7. Is there a way I could check these reports where indeed uploaded and the CRM decided to delete them ? What's the workaround for this?

We want two instances of CRM for two different small companies we operate. In each company there are different staff but the same 2 managers using the same email address. How do we setup two instances where the same user with same email address can use both instances. We dont want staff to see the other instance but we want the managers to use both.

Step by Step Lead Updates
Is there a way to find our how many times a lead was contacted within a certain time frame? Typically the team will get a lead, it will show in "CREATED TIME", then if they change one of the fields, the "MODIFIED TIME" changes. Then, if they do something else (Call for instance) and only leave notes...nothing shows up so on MODIFIED TIME. Is there a way to find out how many times a lead was contacted other than Created, Modified and Last Activity Times?
Problem importing events
Hi i tried importing a large file with events and during the import it stops. The notification is receive is "import failed abruptly". thought it was because of my document so i tried something else. I exported a single row from zoho and tried to import that event and the same error occured. How can I produce a list of contacts to email where the account meets a certain criteria. I have a set of account that belong to a group and this is indicated on the account record, I want to email contacts at these companies therefore the criteria for the search is the account record not the contact. I can email contacts from potentials but cannot see how to do this. Thank you in advance
Can't setup Private in Data Sharing Settings
Hi, I'm create Profile "Sales" and set "Private" in Data Sharing Settings. We have 4 user in "Sales" and it's working and User (Sales) can't share data (another owner). But today, User can see all data of another owner. They can see all and can edit Data Sharing Settings (same Administrator). This is Big Problem.

Duplicate vendors
I'm using zapier to import vendors from erp system but it's not recognizing that the vendor name is the same so it's creating duplicates. Anyone else run into this issue? Is zoho deduplicating on a different field now?
Have Fields from the Contact record lookup automatically in a custom created module
Hello, I am wondering if it is possible to have fields auto-populate for a contact within a custom created module. So I have created a custom module called "Weigh-ins". I am trying to figure out the best solution of calculating the total weight loss since the initial weigh in but there is no way to create a formula field that grabs a value from somewhere else and uses it. Wondering if not possible in CRM and maybe Zoho creator might be a better route. Please help! Thanks!
Eliminating Duplicates
I see that it is possible to eliminate duplicates from certain views, such as leads. I cannot find a way to easily eliminate a duplicate account or contact. Is there a way to do this? Bob Leeds

Drupal Webform Zoho CRM API Integration, Append to Select Records, not Overwrite Records
Greetings, We have Drupal 7 webform submissions integrated into Zoho CRM using the Zoho API (see attached custom.module.txt). When a Drupal webform is completed, the webform submission via the Zoho API creates a new Lead in the Zoho CRM Leads page. Since most web site visitors complete multiple webform submissions, to avoid duplicate Lead entries, we check if the Lead email address exists (this works great), if the Lead/email address exists, we would ideally like to "append" to select existing records/fields
Product Sell-in Dates
A feature that would assist our company is one that would track the date a product was added to an account. If in the Product view within the Account record we could see when that product was added to that account, that could help us track commissions and effectiveness of promotions, etc.

We have leads coming from web forms and until someone take that lead into account and changes the status, it can take hours or even days. Hi there - I am new to Zoho CRM (loving it so far!) but am wondering how you can set-up email such that when, for example, you click on a contact's email address, it will open your chosen email program (e.g., MS Outlook) to initiate communication. My phone number fields are not consistent
Zoho migrated about 360,000 accounts/contacts for me that came from Salesforce. Now I am trying to "over ride" the Zoho records to add a new custom field. My only method to find duplicates is on phone number (don't have emails and too many accounts have same name).
