Bug Details - 7.0

Bug details page displays important information related to the bug. The information can be edited or deleted. Users can also add comments, attachments, provide resolutions, log hours, link other bugs, view activity stream, follow bugs, move or clone, and print the bug.

View Bug Details

Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
Click on the Bugs tab in the top band to open the Plain view.
Click on a bug to open the details page.
Bug ID and Bug title are displayed at the top.
Click to view more information.
Add a Description by clicking +
Edit the required fields in the next section. Click on a field to view options. Make the changes as required.
- The changes are saved automatically.
Scroll the bug details page to add additional information to the bug.

Comments: You can add comments while modifying a bug. Use the screen-grabber to share screenshots or the in-built draw tool to highlight or obscure areas.
Attachments: Attach and share screenshots using the screen-grabber. Attachments added in Comments and Resolution section are shown here.
Resolution: Use this option to resolve the bug. You can also add attachments and screenshots when resolving a bug.
Log Hours: Add the time you spent on resolving the bug. You can also set the start and end time.
Link Bugs: You can link and classify related bugs.
Activities: View the history of the bug. The activities are listed chronologically.
Changesets : View changesets here.
Follow or Add Followers to the bug. Click Follow to track the bug or Unfollow to stop. Click Add Followers to select and add project users to the bug.
Extensions: Click to view extensions installed in your portal.

Add followers to the bug by clicking .
Click to view more options. Move, Clone, Follow, or Delete a bug. Access Notification Helper from to check if a user will receive notifications for a particular trigger event.

Move Bugs

Select a project from the Recent Projects section or from the Projects tab in the left navigation panel.
Click on the Bugs tab in the top navigation band to open the Plain view.
Click on a bug to open the details page.
Click in the top right and then click Move.
Select a project from the drop-down.
Click Move.

The bug cannot be moved to another project if there are invoiced time logs.
