How to have each subform record added in a separate page?
You can accomplish this by inserting a page break after your subform. Here are the elaborate steps with an example for you to follow.
Turbo Steels Pvt Ltd wants to generate monthly invoices for one of their customers. The invoices have multiple products and they vary every month.
In this example, there is one main form and two subforms.
Main form - Customer Details
Subforms - i) Invoice Details
ii) Product Details
Here's what they can do:
- Create a merge template with the customer's details like name, email, address, and contact no., as main forms.
- Insert a subform with invoice details as Simple Repeat.
- Insert the product details like id, description, price, and quantity as a table inside the Simple Repeat subform. The table here is to add formulas for products that are dynamic for every month.
- Add the necessary details and relevant formulas inside the table.
- Now insert a page break after the Simple Repeat subform.
- Preview merge and watch each month's invoice generated on a new page.
