How do I get Zoho CRM to produce a report?
I am the Administrator. I want a Contact Mailing List but get a message saying "Insufficient Privileges to perform this operation. Contact your Administrator." See attached screen image. In fact, I get this error message whenever I try to get any report. How do I get Zoho CRM to produce a report?
Contact form use
After being some time adapting this CRM to my needs I come with a quite logical situation: A contact is on a 2nd stage of the CRM funnel. That is, first you get a lead, (and so it seems to be), this lead can be converted to all: 1contact, 2account and 3opportunitty. So what is a web-to-contact-form for?? CRM Vendor Email Templates? Vendor Mail Merge
We would like to create some email templates and mail merge (zoho writer) templates for our vendors in CRM. However, we cannot find the appropriate vendor record merge fields that we would utilize this functionality. Is this a product functionality issue or lack of user knowledge? Why would we do this? For vendor performance verification etc. Please advise.
Mass update from search results and other modules
Even though I often want to update a number of contacts or companies or potentials all at once, I rarely do because it is too hard to filter the list down to the contacts I want to mass update. The universal search is really great, and really useful, but it would become even more useful if you could then select a bunch of these search results to mass update.
Are Accounts Necessary?
I market to small businesses and most of my accounts have a single contact. Is there any reason NOT to bypass the whole Account concept and have just Leads (or Suspects as I call them) and Contacts (people who have expressed interest, and current clients)?
This feels like a shady beta version..not sure how much more I can take.
I'm really tired of the bugs in this version of the software. The Zoho Writer mail merge is virtually unusable; slow, unstable and is incompatible when importing MS Word .docs. Even the MS Office add on does not work correctly: It will throw information from random fields into the wrong place. NOW I CAN'T ACCESS MY DESKTOP OR DOCUMENTS FOLDER WHEN UPLOADING TEMPLATES OR ATTACHMENTS. I get "invalid directory" or "can't access" prompts when trying to upload. Printing Cases
I am a new Zoho user and am working on getting this configured for our use in the office. I have run into one issue with Cases and need some help. We use Cases to track two types of issues, on-site repairs and in-office repairs. Is there a way to customise the printout generated for Cases? Custom Formula Field in CRM Invoice Module (Syntax error)
Hello! I am trying to make a simple custom formula field in the invoice module of Zoho CRM. I'm trying to get the result of multiplying two custom number fields. Here is the senario: Custom field one: Pick List Called "Cost1" Custom field two: Pick List Called "Qty1" Custom formula: ${Invoices.Cost1}*${Invoices.Qty1} It comes up with a Syntax error. What am I doing wrong?! Is this possible to do? Thank you for your help!
Event export to Gogle Calendar... recurring events not created
When I create an event I am selecting "recuring" and entering "daily", "every day" and the date range is 3 days. December 15, 16,17. I hit save and export to google calendar. Only the item for December 17th is created. It is missing the item for Devember 15th and 16th in google calendar. If I go into activities, events, export to Google calendar al three items are created correctly... seperate items for 15th, 16th, 17th. However this also duplicates the event on the 17th.. since the save and export
No Default Task Owner?

Leads - data dedupe or data aggregation?
We are a lead generation site. We get leads when people download brochures from our site, giving their names and contact details. We have a record under the name of "ana dfgdgfd". This person has signed up for two brochures, on Turkey and Hungary. Both sign-ups appear as separate records in Zoho CRM, so that under ‘Country of Interest’, “Turkey” appears in one record, and “Hungary” in the other. Non-live URLS in list view?
Do urls not work in list view? I have imported a list of leads with urls. The urls don't do anything if I click on them in list view. If I edit the lead, and then save it--even without touching the url, the url becomes live, and clicking it takes me to the website. But this is the details view--not the list view.
Can I set Activities to default to Newest to Oldest?
I am new to Zoho and I would like to set all activities to list from newest to oldest for all views. Is there a way to do this for all accounts/ leads as a Zoho administrator? The only way I see to do this is for each user to click on the header bar under activities and change the way the due date is listed.

When updating existing accounts a duplicate of the account gets created with Special Characters
We have 3 different users who are experiencing the same problem. When they update information on an account, a new account is being created with a different account name containing special characters. Example: Account "John Jones & Company" Exists... After updating information we now have existing Account "John Jones & Company" but also "John Jones&Company". It's not limited to "&"... Also have one that was "Tom Smith" and created another account "Tom Smith"...

Exporting/doing something with data held in 'Events'
Is there no way of exporting Invitees to an event (and an array of their information), or at the very least, running a report that lists this information? Also, is it possible to change the fields that are listed for invitees? As an events company, it's all rather important... Also, what is the ETA on the development for the ability to list a contact in multiple campaigns?
Automated reports to referral partners

Leads import in All Caps-- others in lower case
I'm a new CRM user. Importing Leads is working well, only problem is that some Company Names are showing up in all caps (because they are in all caps in the Filemaker source database) In Filemaker, I have tried re-formattting the Company Name as "Title Case" (upper and lower case). Records look fine in Filemaker. But when I re-export as .csv file, using "preserving data as formatted" option, they still come in all caps or a mixture--so visually, the data is inconsistent. Customized views for mass update?
I'm trying to create a campaign and associate a few hundred of my existing contacts with this campaign. I need to be able to run a report where I can see how many leads I received each month over the entire year or a given month. Also, I'd like to be able to sort by Lead Source. So far it seems that when ever I convert a lead to a Contact. That lead is no longer accessible in the lead reports. Please let me know if there is a way to accomplish what I'm trying to do? Importing Zoho contacts into Google contacts
When importing Zoho contact information into Google contacts all the information ends up in the Notes section.Only the name information ends up in the right fields. Any option to modify search results page?
I have attached a screen shot showing the search results when we use the quick search box on the top left of Zoho CRM. As you can see the "Matching Events" section displays the Subject of the Event, but cuts it off after about 32 characters, leaving the rest of the line blank. We might have modified this Search Result page by accident, but now I can't find where it can be modified. Is there a way to display the full Subject of the Event, and optionally the date/time of the Event on this Search
