How can I present a session?
Go the
Conduct Dashboard in the top-right corner of the Event Console and click the
Present Sessions tab. Click the session you want in the timeline on the left to open more details about it on the right. Next, click the
Present button associated with the session details. For more information about presenting a session,

Can I see how many attendees turned up for a session?
Yes, you can. Go to the Manage Dashboard in the Event Console and click the Sessions tab. Next, click the dropdown for a session and select Summary. Here, you can view the number of attendees who attended your session.
How can attendees view the presentation for an ongoing session?
Attendees must register on the event microsite, and also check in at the event to be able to join ongoing sessions. They can navigate to the Agenda page on the event microsite and click the Join button for any session that has started.
Is there a way for attendees to connect with the speaker for asking questions about the presentation?
Yes. After an attendee has joined a session they can click [

] to like any slide in the presentation. They can also click the
Questions button to ask questions of the speaker. At the end of the session, attendees can provide feedback and rate the session and the speaker.
Will I be able to see how many questions, likes, and stars attendees have submitted for a session?
Yes, you can. Go to the Manage Dashboard in the Event Console and click the Sessions tab. Next, click the dropdown for a session and select Summary. Click the Attendees tab to view the names of attendees along with the number of questions they asked, the slides they liked, and the stars they submitted when rating the session speaker. In this tab, you can also see who bookmarked the particular session.
Where can I view the questions asked and what feedback was given by attendees for a session?
Go to the Manage Dashboard in the Event Console and click the Sessions tab. Click the dropdown for a session, select Summary, then click the Questions or Feedback tabs respectively.
Can I present a completed session again?
Yes, you can. Go to the Conduct Dashboard in the Event Console. Click the Re-present button for a session in the Present Sessions tab. This will retain the summary and analytics from the previous session and also generate a new summary for the current session. If you want to overwrite the summary and analytics of the session, click the Re-start button.
How do I view the session list for the day by day for my event?
Click the Agenda tab in the Microsite Builder. Click the arrow button at the top of the timeline to navigate between the days of your event and view the respective day's sessions.
Session rehearsals
When can I rehearse sessions?
Session rehearsals are only allowed before the event starts or when it is labelled as Live. Once your event has started running, you will not be able to rehearse upcoming sessions in the agenda.
Are session rehearsals available for location-based, online, and hybrid events?
Yes. You can hold rehearsals for sessions in location-based, online, and hybrid events.
Can I conduct rehearsals using any webcasting service?
Session rehearsals are only available when using Backstage OnAir as your webcasting service.
Who can join session rehearsals?
Invited people such as test participants can join a session rehearsal. Apart from this, speakers, hosts, and co-hosts who are added to a session can join its rehearsal. Other speakers in the event and event team members, such as organizers and staff can also join an ongoing rehearsal for any session in the event they are a part of.
What are test participants?
Test participants are people that you invite to act as attendees during session rehearsals. Just like attendees at your live event, test participants can participate in the rehearsals and use all the session engagement tools, including Q&A, chat, and reactions.
How do I invite test participants and session speakers to join a rehearsal?
After you add test participants or speakers to a rehearsal, they will automatically be notified about it by email. You also have the option to send a reminder email just before rehearsal by clicking the Notify participants to join event link in the Rehearse sessions tab under the Rehearsal tab in the Conduct Dashboard.
How do test participants join session rehearsals?
Test participants can sign in to the event microsite with their email address. They can join rehearsals from the Agenda tab by clicking the Join Rehearsal button associated with a session.
Can external users be invited to a session rehearsal?
No, external users can't join session rehearsals.
How do hosts, co-hosts, or members from the event team join a rehearsal?
Hosts, co-hosts, and event team members can go to the Rehearse sessions tab under the Conduct Dashboard in the Event Console and select a session in the timeline to join a rehearsal.
How do speakers join a rehearsal?
Speakers can go to the event microsite when a session rehearsal is happening. To do this, they should sign into the microsite with their email address, click the Agenda tab. Here, they can click the Join rehearsal button for a session rehearsal they want to join.
Can attendees join session rehearsal from the event microsite?
No. Attendees from your event can’t join session rehearsals.
How many people can I invite to a rehearsal?
You can invite up to 20 test participants to a session rehearsal. This includes speakers, test participants, and event team members like hosts, co-hosts, organizers, or staff.
Can multiple rehearsals happen at the same time?
Multiple rehearsals can be started only if these sessions are in different tracks or halls, and also must have different hosts.
Can anyone join multiple session rehearsals that are happening at the same time?
No, joining session rehearsals that are happening at the same time is not possible.
Can I view the session summary and analytics after a rehearsal?
Yes. Just like after a live session is complete, a summary and related analytics are generated after rehearsals, as well. To view this, go to the Sessions tab under the Manage Dashboard in the Event Console and click the View details button for a session.
If I conduct multiple rehearsals for the same sessions what happens to the analytics generated previously?
For each rehearsal you conduct, a separate set of analytics will be generated in the Sessions tab. Click the View details button for a session and select the rehearsal you want to view the data for in the top-right corner. Here, you can see all the details except feedback, as feedback is collected only for live sessions.
