Zoho Creator provides an array of pre-built business apps that are ready to use.
The Admission Management App is designed to cater to the needs of institutions when handling the admission process. You will be able to have a well-defined, structured facility in your institution for issuing online applications forms, collecting and storing applicant details, sorting prospective candidates, conducting assessments and evaluating them, selecting candidates and sending out intimations, and having all the related information at your disposal.
You can access the app from three locations:
Once you install, the app will be set up and ready to use. You can explore the modules in the app, tweak the app to accommodate use cases specific to your business, and add and view data. You can also add users and define roles and permissions such as add, modify, delete, and view data, and map the users to the permissions defined, thus allowing them with limited or full access to your app.
Dashboard: The dashboard is designed using the Page component. It provides a holistic view of all the important data in you app. You can quickly scan through to get information on admission status, enrollments, assessments, and more.
Admissions: The Start New Admission form allows you to create a database for the coming batch of admissions. The module includes reports that provide information on upcoming admissions, open enrollments, closed enrollments, and courses.
Apply: The Fill New Application form can be made available to the candidates at the start of admissions. It enables you to view the courses for which you have received applications and other information related to applications.
Applications: The applications module has the applications grouped into two. One has applications that are selected for direct admissions, without any assessments. Another has applications that are considered for the assessment.
Assessments: This module collectively provides information relating to the assessments that are held for selecting candidates. You can view the entire list of assessments and the list of candidates shortlisted to attend the assessment. You also have attendance trackers to view the candidates who have been present and absent for the assessment.
Final List: The candidates who have cleared the assessment are presented in the final list of selected candidates.
Candidate: The Candidate Registration form allows you to capture and store the candidates' profile. The candidates need to register using this form before applying for the admission. The My Profile report allows your candidates to view their profiles after submitting the registration form.
Courses: The Add Course form enables you to enter and store courses that your institution offers.
Configuration: This refers to the configuration of your administration. The module has details of your institution, the departments and divisions in it, eligibility criteria for the courses, institution's documents, and staff details.
The app is fully equipped with automations to make your admission process efficient and well-defined. The created workflows in the app are used to hide/show and enable/disable certain fields in the forms, auto-update of application status, trigger email notifications of successful submission of application and registration of candidates, display automatic alerts, and more.
You can share this app to the users within your organization. You can define roles and permissions for your users, so that users with specific roles have specific levels of access to the components in the app. Please click here to learn how to share your app.
