Data cataloging in Zoho DataPrep helps with data management and data discovery depending on the usage of data assets, their status, and associated information. It can be used to evaluate and implement the readiness of data for use, by intended users in an organization.
Let us take a look at the data cataloging features available in DataPrep.
Add tags
You can associate tags to workspaces to identify, classify, or group them. You can also use tags as labels to quickly search for your workspace in DataPrep.
To add tags to your workspaces,
1. Click the
ellipses icon of a workspace in the Workspace tab, and select Workspace overview option.
2. Click on the

icon from the
Tags section in the
Workspace Overview pane and add tags.
Filter attributes
You can click the
icon at the top-right corner of the respective tab filter and search using filter attributes and fields such as,
1. Run by, pipeline, workspace, status, and run time in the Jobs page.

2. Created by, shared by, last modified, tags in the Workspace page.

3. Schedules, workspace, last modified, last run time in the Pipeline page.

Note: You can also customise the date using the Custom option.
