Editing asset details
After an Asset is added to the application, you can edit it to change some of the details, such as Name, Description, Connected Gateway, Located at, etc.
All asset operations require necessary permissions. Refer User Profiles document for more details.To edit an asset,
- Access the End Application.
- Select Assets in the left pane. This will open the device list view.
- Select the box adjacent to the asset name you want to edit and click the Edit button that appears. This opens the edit asset instance form. For this illustration, asset: Diesel Generator 1001 is considered.
- Make the necessary changes. For this illustration, the description for the asset is changed.
- Click Update.
The changes made will now be updated in the asset.
