Editing asset model details
After an asset model is created, you can change its name and the allowed profiles for the asset.
All asset operations require necessary permissions. Refer user profiles document for more details.To edit an asset model,
- Access the Developer Application.
- Select Asset in the left pane.
- Click on the asset model name you want to edit. This opens the asset model's information page. For this illustration, the asset model: Diesel Generator is considered.
- Click Edit Model.
- Make the necessary changes. For this illustration, the allowed profiles are changed.
- Click Save.

The changes made will now be updated in the asset model.
