Editing a user defined custom module

A user defined custom module can be edited to change its name and description.

Note: Default custom modules cannot be edited.

To edit a user defined custom module,

1. Access the Developer Application.
2. Select Modules in the left pane.
   
   
   
   
3. Click on the name of the user defined custom module you want to edit. For this illustration, Inspection custom module is selected.
   
   
   
   
4. Click Edit Module. This opens the Edit Module form.
   
   
   
   
5. Make the necessary changes and click Save.
   
   

The changes made will now be updated in the module. To manage the fields of the custom module, you must edit its field layout.
