Importing a datapoint group in the end application
Datapoint group with pre-configured datapoint templates can be imported to the Zoho IOT application.
To import a datapoint group in the end application,
- Access the End Application.
- Click the Settings icon in the top right corner.
- Click on Datapoint Group under the MONITORING & CONTROL section.
- Click on Add New Datapoint Group.
- Select Import from Gallery and click Next.
- Select the datapoint group you want to add in the left pane and click Import. The datapoint templates configured for the selected group will be displayed on the right. For this illustration, the datapoint group Device Health is selected.
The datapoint group will now be available in the applications. You can import the datapoint templates from this to group when configuring managed entity models.
If the datapoint templates you need are not available in the pre-configured groups, you can create a custom datapoint group and add the necessary datapoint templates. You will not be able to add new datapoint templates to the pre-configured datapoint groups.
