Why are a few contacts not synced from Zoho CRM to Zoho Marketing Automation?
Zoho Marketing Automation follows certain critera while importing contacts from Zoho CRM, and other Zoho or third party applications. If you notice a mismatch in the number of contacts during the sync, it might be because the following criteria are not met:
- Bounced - The email was undeliverable to the subscriber or the email address does not exist.
- Blocked - The email address is blocked by Zoho Marketing Automation.
- Do-not-Mail - The email address has been moved to do-not-mail registry.
- Role-based email addresses - The email address is generic such as info@, administrator@, careers@, service@, support@, etc.
- Duplicate entries - The email address appears multiple times in the file.
- Invalid Pattern - Your records would have invalid email address formats, like, "patriciagmail.com", "patricia@aol" "patricia@zylkercom", etc.
- Empty Email - Some of the records might have empty email address field.
- Other Errors - Some records that are categorized as miscellaneous, and do not fall into the above-mentioned categories.
