Zoho PageSense's visual editor also allows you to add entirely new elements to your variations and make advanced changes to them for A/B testing. This includes adding the HTML code for elements such as text, images, audio files, or video files, and changing the element's tag, attributes, or content—directly from the code editor. For example, adding a new CTA button on your landing page to make website navigation smoother for your customers or introducing a custom field in your signup form to capture the specific needs of customers on your business site.
To add a new element to a variation using HTML:
1. Select your A/B experiment and click the EDITOR tab at the top.
Your test page will open in the PageSense Visual Editor.
2. Hover over and click the element (text, image, or video) you want to add the HTML code for.
You will see the action bar appear on the page.
3. Click Insert from the menu list, select Insert HTML and choose where you want to insert the HTML, either before or after the existing selection.
4. Enter the HTML code for your new element in the HTML editor box and click Apply.
5. You will see the new HTML element added on your variation page as shown below.
4. Make the required HTML code changes (for static content only) within the editor and click Apply.
5. You will see the edited HTML element on your variation page as shown below.
