Managing questions in the question pool

1. From home page, go to Operations > View all > Employee Engagement > Question Pool and click Add Question.
   

   You can also import questions using the ellipses icon (  ) instead of adding them manually. Only the following question types can be imported:

   - Single

   - Multiple

   - Date
   - Comment

   - Star

   - NPS

   
   
   
2. Define the question with any of the following question type:
   
   
   
1. Single: Allows you to define a question that requires a single answer in response.
2. Multiple: Allows you to define a question that requires multiple answers in response.
3. Comment: Allows you to define a question that requires a comment in response.
4. Date: Allows you to define a question that requires a date value in response.
5. NPS: Allows you to define a question based on the Net Promoter Score (NPS).
6. Star: Allows you to define a question that requires a star rating in response.
7. Rating Scale: Allows you to define a question that uses a rating scale as the response.

1. Selecting the 'Add other' option enables survey respondents to provide their own answers rather than choosing from the preset options in single and multiple-choice questions. 
   
2. Selecting enable comments check box can allow respondents to enter their feedback on the question. You can mandate comment by marking comment as mandatory for a question.

3. Once you have defined the question, click Save.
   The question is successfully created in the question pool; you can use it when creating an engagement survey or a custom template.
4. To delete or edit a question, hover over the respective question and click the Edit or Delete icon.
   
   
   To delete multiple-questions select the questions to be deleted and click Delete.

You cannot delete a question from the question pool that is used in a survey or a template. The multi-select delete option only deletes questions that are not used in a survey or a template.

5. To add questions to your custom template, select the questions, click Add to Template and select the template in which the questions are to be included and click Save.
   
   
   
   
6. To export questions:
   
1. Select the questions, click Export.
   
2. Select the format in which your questions are to be exported.
   
3. To set a password to the export file select the Enable password protection for this export check box and provide the password.
   
4. Click Export.
   The file will be exported and downloaded to your Downloads folder.
