You can change your Cliq status from the status bar on the Cliq homepage or from the User Profile. Mentioned below are the status options available in the status bar:
Available for collaboration | You will receive all notifications. | |
Engaged at work | Notification sounds will be disabled, but you will still receive messages. | |
Meal break | Timed status: Short Break—15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes | |
Short Break | ||
DND | You will not receive notifications for messages and calls. |
To set your status from the Cliq status bar:
Navigate to the Cliq homepage.
Click the icon of your choice to set your status.
To set your status from the Cliq left pane:
Alternatively, you can also set your status from the User Profile.
Click the user profile in the app menu bar.
Click the current Cliq status.
Choose the preferred status from the list of options that appear.
Notes:
By default, your Cliq status will be set as Available for Collaboration.
The time taken for a status to change to Idle due to inactivity is 15 minutes.
You can choose from built-in statuses or create your own custom statuses. To create custom statuses:
Click the user profile image in the app menu bar.
Click the current Cliq status.
Click the status icon at the bottom of the drop-down menu and choose the icon you want.
Type in your personalized status in the status textbox and hit Enter.
You can check in and check out directly from Cliq to facilitate efficient remote work. The timer starts recording your working hours as soon as you check in. Similar to swiping your card when you enter and exit your organization, you can check in and check out within the app with a single click.
To record your working hours, click the Check-In button on the Cliq homepage or from the User Profile in the app menu bar. Click Check-Out when you log out for the day.

The Cliq home page consists of various panels that offer quick ways to communicate and collaborate with your teammates.
New Group Chat
Click New right next to the status bar.
Select Start a Group Chat from the drop-down menu.
Choose the members you want to add to the group, type the chat title, and click Initiate Chat.
The Department View provides an easy and efficient way to search for department members and check their availability status. This view gives you thorough information about your team.
There are three categories in this view.
At Work: Lists all of the department members who have checked in and are available. Additionally, you can also view all of the members of the department who are working remotely or are working from the office.
Away: Lists members who have marked their status as "Away" or are on leave.
Meetings: Lists departments' ongoing and scheduled meetings.
Department Head: Displays the department head's name mentioned next to the department member's search bar.
To view members from other departments:
This view displays the members of the organization that you interact with most often. You can click on a contact to start chatting with them.
Here you can view all the reminders scheduled for that particular day, set a reminder for yourself or create a reminder for others with a date and time.
To set a reminder:
Scroll down to Reminders for Today.
Enter the reminder title in the dialog box.
Choose the time and date by clicking the Calendar icon, and add participants by clicking the @ icon, and click Save.
Once you have filled in the information for the reminder, click Set.
