There are several reasons for emails to get bounced. Generally bounces are classified as soft bounces and hard bounces.
Soft bounces are emails that are temporarily undeliverable to the recipient address. Some of the reasons for soft-bounces are:
Your email is too large
Recipient's inbox is full
The recipient's server is down or offline
A soft bounced email will be tried multiple times before it is marked as 'failed to deliver permanently' or 'hard bounce'.
Hard bounces are emails that fail to deliver due to permanent reasons. Some of the reasons for hard bounces are:
Soft bounced emails that failed delivery 5 consecutive times
Invalid recipient email address
You can view the bounced email reports in the Processed emails section of the ZeptoMail account.
