How to install Trello? 

• Click on Settings and then More apps in the left side bar.

• Go to Marketplace and search for Trello and click Install.

• Select who can install this extension and start installing.

• Click Take me to Cliq once the installation is complete. 

Widget 

i. Boards: You can view all the Trello Boards in this tab.

• Create Card - Click on Create to create Trello cards without leaving Cliq. You can name the card, assign to a board, list and an assignee, set due date, select a label and give a brief description.

• Switch Board - You can switch board using this option to view the cards and lists in it.

• Modify List - Modify and change list using this option.

• Search Cards - You can search and find cards using keywords via the Search Cards option.

• The card with the keyword will be filtered and displayed.

• Update - You can update your cards in this tab by clicking on Update.

• Comment - You can comment on the cards by clicking on Comment. Now, click on Add Comment and enter the comment in the pop-up box.

ii. Dashboard:

• This tab visualizes cards assigned to you and the total cards in that board.

• You have two options in this tab—Clear Thread Database and Change Board.

• Clear Thread Database - You can clear the data of closed threads or all threads within the selected time frame.

• Change Board - You can change boards to visualize the cards in it.

iii. Help - This tab guides you through the slash commands, bots & message actions, hashtags, unfurl, and follow-up.

 Slash Commands 

• Use slash commands to create and search for Trello cards within the chat window.

• /trello - Search for any card using this command.

• The card will be displayed in the chat, which can be posted for everyone to see.

• /trellocard - Search and view a Trello card using View Trello card window.

• /trellocreate - Create a new board, list, and cards without leaving the chat.

• After all the details are added, click Create.

• You can post the created card for all the participants to see.

Bot 

Trello bot has the following options—Create, Configuration, Cards Filter and Help.

i. Create:

• You can create boards, lists, and cards using Trello bot.

• Choose an option and you will get a pop-up where you can create a board/list/cards.

• Click Create to create the list.

ii. Configuration:

• Default Board: Set a default board using this option.

• Map Channels: Map a Trello board to a channel and post notifications as threads in the channel.

• Unmap Channels: Unmap or update connected channels.

• Notify to bot: Select events for which you want to be notified via the bot.

• You will receive a notification for these actions in the Trello bot.

iii. Cards Filter: You can filter Trello cards based on—My Cards, Overdue Cards and Upcoming Cards.

iv. Help: Explore the integration's features, capabilities, and use cases through a guided walkthrough.

 Message Actions 

• Hover over a message and click on the three dots.

• Click on More... and search for Trello.

• The message will automatically added as the description.

 Link Unfurl and Preview 

• Pasting a Trello link in the message composer will automatically unfurl and preview the card details in Cliq.

• Once the link is sent, it will preview the card details.

• Click on Follow Up to receive updates in reply to this message.

• If you Follow Up in a channel, then you will receive threaded updates in that channel.
