Solution Details

The Solution Details page acts as a central dashboard to manage the key details of your solution. It includes two primary tabs: About and Versions, each designed to simplify solution management.
Info
Any changes made to this page do not require publishing a new version. These changes will immediately reflect in the Subscriber Organization
Let us explore each tab that allows you to effectively manage your solution:

About

This tab serves as a preface, summarizing the foundational attributes of your solution. It includes:

Basic Details

  1. Solution Name (Mandatory): Represents the unique name of your solution.
  2. Description: A brief overview of the solution's purpose or features.
  3. Industry: The industry for which the solution is tailored.
  4. Sign-up Mode: Specifies the subscriber's onboarding method. You can either allow public sign up or limit access to invite-only subscribers.
  5. Status: Indicates whether the solution is currently active or inactive.

Terms and Policies URLs

  1. Terms of Service: The link to your business' terms of service help page that contains the rules, rights, and obligations governing the use of your solution.
  2. Privacy Policy: The URL of your privacy policy page, explaining how you collect, use, and protect user data in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.

  2. Payment Notifications (Mandatory): The email address from which all payment-related notifications, including upgrades, renewals, and subscriptions, are sent.
  3. Sign Up Notifications: The email address to which all sign-up-related notifications are delivered.

Versions

This tab logs the publishing history of the solution. It allows you to maintain a detailed log of significant updates for traceability. Each version entry contains:
  1. Version: A unique identifier for the release based on the Semantic Version.
  2. Date: The publication date of the version.
  3. Remarks: A summary of significant changes or updates in the version.
  4. Status: Displays whether the version is currently active or deprecated.

Key Actions

You can also manage a solution and its details right from this page:

Publish Solution: Finalize and release a new version. You can compare the component differences between the old and the latest version before publishing to review your changes.

Activate/Deactivate Solution: Temporarily disable access to subscribers without affecting their existing data. Reactivating restores access with all previous data intact.

Warning
Caution!
Deactivating a solution may lead to temporary data loss for subscribers. It is recommended to inform them in advance to plan for data migration and avoid any potential loss.
