Adding custom user profile fields to certificates

In Zoho Learn, course certificates can be personalized with values from a learner’s user profile. This lets admins include details such as department, designation, or other custom profile information directly on the certificate.

To add a custom profile field on a certificate:

  1. Go to the course where you want to add a certificate with user profile fields.

  2. Click Create certificate if you have not yet assigned a certificate to a course.

        

    In case you've already assigned a certificate, click Edit.

  1. In the Fields panel, scroll or search to view the list of available User Profile Fields.

  1. Drag and drop the desired fields (for example: First Name, Department, Designation) onto the certificate design.

  2. Adjust placement using spacers, style, and size as needed, then click Done.


Supported field types     

The following user profile field types can be added to a certificate:
  1. Single line
  2. Date
  3. Single-select drop-down
