Step 1: Link entities to the Key Result

Step 2: Add a weight to the entity selected for automatic progress tracking

Step 3: System automatically calculates the impact based on the weight of the entity

Step 4: Derived progress percentage is updated for the Key Result

Step 5: Review the derived progress percentage and update the progress percentage of the key result

Step 1: Link entities to Key Result

1. Navigate to OKRs module.
   
2. Select a key result.
   
3. Switch to the Linked Entities tab.
   
4. Click Add or Associate to link the selected entity for automatic progress tracking. abc
   

Step 2: Add a weight to the entity selected for automatic progress tracking

1. Switch to the linked entities tab in the Key Result.
   
2. For the entity selected for automatic progress tracking, you can find two additional columns; Weight and Impact.
3. By default, each entity will be given number one as its weightage.
   
4. Click the edit icon beside the weight field.
   
5. Add a weight to the entities based on its contribution to achieving the key result.
   
6. Click the update icon. abc
   

Step 3: System automatically calculates the impact based on the weight of the entity 

Impact will be calculated using the below formula:

 

Impact = (Weight of the entity / Sum of weights of all the linked records)*100

Step 4: Derived progress percentage is updated for the Key Result

Step 5: Update the progress percentage of the Key Result based on derived progress percentage

Bulk update the progress percentages of Key Results

1. Navigate to the OKR module.
   
2. In the Board tab, select the key results whose progress percentages need to be updated.
   
3. Click the Update Progress button. abc 

Note: 

1. Only KRs whose derived percentage isn't updated as progress percentage can be selected.  
   
2. When you click the Select all checkbox, only KRs whose derived percentage isn't updated as progress percentage will be selected.
