Be Organized with Reminders
We all have key important events in our lives which we often needed to be reminded about. Notebook allows you to capture your thoughts and provides you with an option to remind about them at the appropriate time.
Notebook supports different types of reminder options so that you don't forget your important things and stay ahead of them at all times. You can schedule recurring reminders for your note cards to repeat them across various options. All your reminders are synced across all your devices so that you can get reminded about them anywhere anytime. You can choose to have your reminder notification conveyed via email or SMS.
Before you begin
- A Zoho account is required to sync your reminders across devices. For non registered users the reminders won't be synced.
- Only one type of reminder can be set for a note card.
Here's how you can set reminders and recurring reminders:
Mobile apps:
Android
1. Open the note card
2. Click the three horizontal dot icon and click Set reminder
3. Choose your reminder date and time and click Done
4. To set recurring reminders choose from the list of options in Repeat
5. Repeat has the list of options:
- Never
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
6. Click on any of the option and select options from End repeat (except for Never)
7. End repeat displays the following:
- Never
- On a date (On a following date later)
- After (After how many occurrences you want it to stop)
8. Choose from the list of End repeat options and click Set
9. You can choose to receive reminder emails/SMS before setting the reminder
iOS
1. Open the note card
2. Click the three vertical dot icon and click Set reminder
3. Choose your reminder date and time
4. To set recurring reminders click Repeat
5. Repeat has the list of options:
- Never
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
6. Choose from the list and click Back
7. Select options for End repeat (except for Never). End repeat has the following options:
- Never
- On a date (On a following date later)
- After (After how many occurrences you want it to stop)
8. Select any of the option and click Back
9. Click Set
10. You can choose to receive reminder emails/SMS before setting the reminder
Other platforms
1. Open the note card
2. Click reminder from the list of options in the toolbar
3. Set your reminder date and time
4. To set recurring reminders click Repeat
5. Repeat displays list of options:
- Never
- Daily
- Weekly
- Monthly
- Yearly
6. Select from the list of options and click End repeat to select when to end the reminder (except for Never)
7. End repeat has the following options:
- Never
- On a date (On a following date later)
- After (After how many occurrences you want it to stop)
8. Choose whether to receive the remainder notification and click Set
