Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is incredibly important to get your website to rank on the first page of a Google search. SEO is a relationship that requires constant work. To get started, you can use the in-built SEO features to the improve ranking of your website.

Robots Text 

Robots text tells search engine crawlers whether they can crawl over certain sections of their website or not. Instructions like Allow or Disallow are used to inform certain crawlers as to which URLs they should and should not crawl upon.



  1. Go to Configuration -> SEO.



  2. Select Robots Text from the top bar.
  3. Provide the necessary instructions for crawlers. 
  4. Click Save.


301 Redirect 

A 301 redirect is a permanent redirection method that transfers the full link equity (ranking power) to the redirected page. This will help users to be redirected towards a different URL from the one that was originally requested by the user.

  1. Select 301 Redirect from the top menu bar.
  2. Click Add 301 Redirect button.



  3. Provide the Request URL and select the Destination.
  4. Click OK.



Google Tools

This built-in feature allows us to use Google's analytic tools for tracking your website's visitor behavior. 

  1. For Google Analytics and Webmaster tools, provide Google Analytics Measurement ID. You can find out more about it here.
  2. Provide the Meta Tag and click Save.
  3. For Google Tag Manager, provide Container ID and click Save. Find out more about container ID here.



Bing Webmaster

Bing Webmaster tools help your site to perform better in Bing search results. They also help you improve your website rankings with Bing.

  1. Provide the Meta Tag. Read more about meta tags here.
  2. Click Save.



Sitemap

Sitemap will help you understand the structure and arrangement followed by your website.

To upload the sitemap from your computer:

  1. Enable the Upload the sitemap.xml file toggle.
  2. Click Upload File.
  3. Select the file to be uploaded.


View available sitemap

Click on the provided URL to view the available sitemap of your website.
