Sender Policy Framework (SPF)

Sender Policy Framework (SPF) record is a validation mechanism adopted by email marketers to ensure the email sender is not a spammer. This policy allows the sender to list out the various addresses from which emails can be sent on their behalf. During the SPF validation, the email header is checked to see if it had been sent from one of those authorized addresses to rule out the possibility that the email could be spam.
