TURF analysis
TURF analysis, short for Total Unduplicated Reach and Frequency, is a statistical technique used to determine the optimal combination of products, services, or marketing messages to maximize reach. It helps businesses identify the most effective way to allocate resources and target their audience.

Note : TURF analysis is applicable only for multiple choice with many answers question type.
Use case
Let's take an example of a sample survey where you wanted to know what model of car is liked by most people. There are 5 models in total like A, B, C, D, and E. By the survey, you have found out that one among these is mostly liked. But with TURF analysis, you would look for preferences in combination. The combination can be either among every 2 or 3 models. This analysis can help eliminate unwanted choices and be more specific to purpose.
- Navigate to the Reports tab and choose the question for whom TURF analysis has to be performed.
- Click on Customize and choose TURF analysis from the analysis dropdown.
- Select the simulation count for TURF analysis. We currently support a simulation count of up to six. Simulation Level refers to the number of options that each combination must have. For example, if a question has three options, selecting two counts as the Simulation Level would give you a TURF report with two options in each combination, as in the following screenshot.
Sentiment Analysis
Understand your customers' feelings with Sentiment Analysis. Sentiment analysis is a technique used to determine the emotional tone of a text automatically. It analyzes text data to identify whether the expressed sentiment is Anger, Disappointment, Neutral, Sarcasm, Happy, or Extremely Happy.

Note: This is applicable only to the long answer question type. And analysis is applicable for sentences and not words.
Use case
While conducting a survey about customer feedback on your product, you may be bundled up with so many open-ended responses. For such cases, you can use Sentiment Analysis and categorize the responses and analyze user insights better. With this analysis, all the text responses will be analyzed automatically with our algorithm. As a result, you can see the overall value for open-ended questions.
