my activities appear in all colleagues calendar
Hello, I have professional use of ZOHO CRM and I also have 2 colleagues using this tool. We took this professional use because we wanted to use the calendar sync of zoho calendar to google calendar. It does work, however if one of us (3 persons) put an new activity it appears in all our google calendar and not only in the one who created it. Does anyone know how to sikve this? Hi All, I've been trying to implement web-to-lead without success for about a month. I've been using an experienced Zoho CRM company but we've run into some serious obstacles. The core problem is the 200 or so spam enquiries per day that I have to filter out. The solution is a captcha filter when the user (or spam bot) posts an enquiry. But Zoho has no inbuilt captcha. CRM calculation field: calculated live instead of on update or insert
Hi there, I'm wondering just how much I can make a calculated field that updates live? Example is AGE. If i am born in 1911, then I am 100 years old now. But if I make a calculated field for a record, and that record is not updated for two years, it means that in 2013, it will still say I am 100. This is a real pain. Is there a work-around? How to Connect/Attach One Lead Profile to Another
Is there anyway I can setup Zoho CRM to allow us to connect one "Lead" profile to another "Lead profile"? We only use "Accounts" and "Contacts" for current signed clients, not leads, because we only have individuals (and households) as clients, and not businesses. I was hoping maybe there is some custom field setup we can arrange that allows them to be linked, or some way to do this?

How to streamline the use of reminders?
I have what I assume is a common scenario among people in sales type positions. I'll have an initial call with someone and need to f/u with them in a week or two. So I create a task under the contact and set a reminder to email them next week. So a week passes and I email them, but then I need to remind myself to check back in another week to see if I've heard back from them yet. I'm not sure of the best way to set up this second reminder. Recurring Products?
I have a company that hosts websites and builds them. I want to show how much the product costs initially to set up and then how much the monthly hosting fee is- on the sales order and invoice. How can I customize this? Ideally I'd like to show the total for the monthly hosting charges (i.e. if it's $10/month to host the ecommerce store and $5/month to host the social media- total MHF is $15.00. Also, somewhere I saw that if you purchased zoho crm that projects was included for FREE. Is that true?
Are sales order supposed to email somewhere?
I would assume that since you are requiring a sales order subject that they are being emailed. however, many attempts using my own email addresses, both inside zoho and outside zoho show nothing is being emailed. Also the sales order doesn't attach to a client only an account. Also, why aren't the products the client orders showing up under products? Do you have to double entry that, once on the sales order and once on the account?

We're migrating all our clients to a new email solution, and clients have two options... another POP3 server or Google Apps. Multiply two columns in a report
Hi, This question related to the Inventory module in the CRM. We have Quantity column and Unit Price, I have to have a report on the total inventory value. The formula field doesn't work as the stock may be reduced at any time and I need to calculate the inventory value at runtime. Is it possible? Thanks.
Adding a task or an event to calendar
Hello, I have been using the free trial version and have not been able to add to my calendar a created event or task. Shouldn't it automatically add on, if I put a date and time? Also with the new version it is harder to get on to it. Can't the calendar be as my desktop, with task and reminders? It just does not seem very practical. Thanks. Lisa

Hi, We need to conduct telemarketing to selected contacts in our data. We have 4 different campaigns which need to be measured separately (i.e some contacts need to be contacted as campaign "A", some as "B" etc). User authentication problem
I had developed an application using zoho crm. In that application i made 4 forms. In one form i.e Salesman Data , I want to give user authentication (i.e 1 Salesman can only see his report not others). There will be 20 salesman like this. And There is one form which can be seen by only 5 person team. Please tell me how to achieve this.
Email reports
Is there anyway to generate a report showing recent emails from and to leads based on the value of a given field? In other words, I use a custom field called "Trade Show", and want to be able to see a list of all leads from a given trade show, indicating whether they have corresponded with me or not. I have recently imported leads, and categorized them based on lead source. How can I quickly sort based on LEAD SOURCE to only view leads from this event? Likewise, how can we sort based on any other aspect entered in to the lead profile?
CRM Header ... automatically reorders the menu entries
Hi, I think the CRM Header automaically reorganizes based on the last menu used. This is utterly confuses as I expect the menu item in a particular place, but if this often changes position then I have to scane the header everytime. Is there a way to turn off this? If I convert the info of a potential client from the lead status to potential/account status it automatically disappears from the lead stage. However if I do want to put it back, eg because we have received feedback to contact it next year, how do i do this without putting everything back in again?
Blank page appearing for new Lead/Contact/Account

Question re: correcting email addresses for contacts
I am a new user to the Zoho system and have determined that over 20,000 contacts imported have the incorrect email address listed. How can I import the email addresses without overwriting the additional contact information (i.e. activities, addresses, phone numbers, etc.)?

My changes being unchanged + logging out automatically
Since it is no longer possible for me to get support I figure this is the only option I have. I've made several requests for access to the support portal but now over a week since the first of recent attempts and have received no invites or log-in info at all. Updating records with follow up imports to ZOHO CRM (without creating dead records)
We are about to import 20,000 records into ZOHO CRM. I have images stored in google docs. I don't want to cause zoho servers undue traffic and would like to put an "active" link in crm. I know that I can do a custom field and input the URL. But this link must be cut and pasted into a URL bar to display the image. (ie.- its an inactive link.) Timezones problem in Zoho CRM
Here in the UK we have just moved from British Summertime to normal GMT, 1 hour difference, and all my customers' Zoho systems are now showing 1 hour later than the actual time. I thought I had found a timezone setting that allowed for the time change, but apparently not. There in no explanation whatsoever in the userguide on what all the different timezone options actually do. Contact ID Number
So i wanted to know if Zoho assigns Contact ID numbers to contacts and quickly learned that it does through the Zoho Sheet View under the Contact Menu.. My question now is: Is there any way of viewing and searching by the ID number other than by going to the Zoho Sheet View?

Zoho...when are we going to see the newer versions of Firefox and IE supported???? They've been on the market for a LONG time now. I have to keep FF 3.6xxx installed for Zoho but I've had two applications I use frequently that no longer support 3.6xxx. I have had more compatibility issues with Chrome so that is not an option for me.
work flow task
I am setting up a work flow task that will create a task for the sales manager when a new lead is created. Most of the settings in the work flow task work fine, but is there a way to populate the description of the task with a field from the lead? We want the description of the task to be the same as the description of the lead. That is how we do it now, just manually, I am trying to automate the process.

Is there a way to automatically send email reminders on due dates for tasks or over due tasks? I see no work flow settings for tasks in setup.
Custom Fields don't show for other users
I am using the free Google Apps version. I have added some fields to the Opportunities screen and they show fine for me, but not for my colleague? They are available in the edit screen and show up when he clicks print, but even if they're made visible in Edit Screen, they are hidden when he looks at an opportunity?
Home Page Component Configuration Help
When I open the HOME page tab, how do I create a new component that has similar information as in the "classic" view, but rearranged and always opens in order of date (for example)? I can't seem to create components that incorporate contact name, company, task, notes, subject and date in a component that I configure. I would even be OK if I could come up with something similar to the classic view, just with the columns rearranged. Make any sense?
Export-Import problem
For our company we need to make Reports on a daily basis and export the results for a debt collection agency. Once the Debt Collection agency delivers the data back we need to import it with overwrite option so the appropriate fields get updated.
