Contact Deduplicate
I realize this may be a less-used feature, but the deduplicate options under Accounts and Contacts are somewhere I am currently spending quite a bit of time due to how we imported our accounts/contacts. In particular, I am currently working on deduplicating contacts. The four options the system gives me are Email, Phone, Account Name and Mobile. Zoho CRM running very slowly? Outlook plugin?
Anyone else experiencing this? It seems to me it may be linked to the Outlook Plugin as that has been locking up Outlook when I try to add an email as well. Not sure if that has to do with Zoho or the plugin or both or neither...
Zoho CRM responding very slowly
Zoho is responding slowly. For a few minutes it is quick but then slows down again. Takes 10 minutes to get into everything. Is Zoho experiencing some sort of outage? It is absolutely unusable for my sales team. Please help - all our data is on the crm!

Outlook Calendar Sync Problem
When I try to sync my outlook calendar. I get the following message " This calendar is not in selected category". None of my calendar items have a category selected. If i select a category it will sync over. There must be a way to get this to work without having to open up all my appointments and assign a category in outlook. Please advise. thanks, dave

Lead report & conversion?
Is there a way to report on how many leads have been given to a sales person during any time period, i.e day, week, month. I need to report on how many given regardless of if they have been converted in the meantime. For a sales crm, i find it strange i can't report on this. Also i would ike to know how many have been converted in to potenials and then onto sales..... the last one is easy but a full conversion report should be standard. Any idea's? Chris

I was wanderning if it is possible to add fields from other modules to new or existing modules. I.e. I want mailing address fields available to select in the invoices module or mailing address fields in a brand new module. Is this possible? Can I please get an update on the quote functionality. I wanting to quote recurring values and total them separate to the up front values and currently Zoho CRM can't do this and it really is the most frustratingly inhibative thing I have come across! I am trying to modify the Pipeline by Stage report/chart to obtain a chart freely available in SalesForce/ SugarCrm that is called Outcome by Month. It works, however, when I group by the closing date it is really grouped by the specific closing date. How can group it by month? Another words, I am trying to have one bar for any given month. tks

Schedule Mass Email
Hi I've just upgraded to Standard paid version so that I could do some limited email marketing. I have 1500 leads that I want to send emails to. I assumed that I could set up a 'schedule mass email' which would email 250 contacts each day until all 1500 had been sent an email. I've just checked another post and this doesnt seem to be possible. In fact there does not seem to be any way of emailing the 1500 except for choosing blocks of 250 leads manually then emailing each block?!
Workflow on Tasks, use of related Contact
Hi, I'm trying to create a workflow related to the modification of a task: When the task status is changed to "Done", I would like the related contact person (logged in Contact module) to be sent an email. when I set up the alert by email, the only fields available from Contact is "Contact creator" and "Contact owner", but not the contact himself. Export Data feature doesn't export "Notes" which is located under every Lead or Contact & used while follow up.
Hi, When I make follow up calls, I usually add all important parts of the conversation into " Notes for this Lead" section which also shows exact time and date of the same and located under every lead/contact. Now the problem is when I try to use the feature "Export Data" located in Data Administration, it does not include those Notes.. which is the main heart of any particular lead/contact.. & hence it totally nullifies my actual purpose to export data ie export those notes. Option add contact person from e-mail doesn't work
When I open an e-mail, there is a menu-item add to -> contact persons. When I use it, I get the message 'succesfully added contact person. But in the list of contact persons the new contact does not appear. When I search for the new contact I get the message 'no record found'. But when I add the contact for the second time, the message is: çontact already exists'. (I use no filter for contacts, just 'all contacts'). I am a paying customer, can the helpdesk also look into this? Thank you.
Emails for Leads after conversion
Hello, I just have a question about what happens to the emails attached to a lead once it is converted. I don't see the emails either on the contact or on the potentials field. CRM for home inspector
I'm a home inspector and interested in setting up zoho crm to help me track client referrals etc. This business operates mostly by referrals from real estate agents. The agent would appear to be the client and a successful "sale" is the agent referring a buyer to me. Of course then I have the follow up with the paying client. What's the best way to use Zoho crm for this? I'm a beginner so please take it easy on me! Edit: I should add that I normally get multiple referrals from each agent.

Hi all, When saving contacts from the contact list a unique ID shows up. However after having made some changes on different fields, somehow the information is not overwrited, even after mapping all the fields on the import wizard. I am having the following problem: When selecting the matching of RECORD/CONTACT IDs the contact with similar IDs are not updated. Updating contacts via CSV roundtrip and matching with Contact Id
Hi Guys, I've been trying to tidy up our contacts in Zoho. I hoped that if I exported contacts to CSV with the Contact Id, I'd be able to edit those contacts in Excel and re-import them using the Contact Id to match the right Zoho contacts when I re-import. It seems that Zoho actually matches to the Last Name during the CSV import (this is the only mandated import field) and not even to the email address (which is ambiguous for duplicate contacts with the same email address). This seem illogical.
