ScreenMagic SMS Integration

Who can do what? Super Admins and Admins can enable payments via ScreenMagic. Managers & Staff will not have access to this information.
Zoho Bookings facilitates service enablers or service providers to send text notifications or reminders for bookings, cancelations, or reschedules through ScreenMagic.
Requirement: This integration requires an account with ScreenMagic.

SMS notifications through ScreenMagic can be set up by following the steps below:

  1. Configure SMS gateway
  2. Enable notifications
  3. Send SMS notifications

I. Configure SMS Gateway

           1. Click Integration on the top right corner and then click Others on the left side panel. You will find SMS-Magic listed under the Connections Available section.



           2. Hover over ScreenMagic and click Configure.
   

           3. A pop-up shows up. Enter the required values and click Configure.
Required values: Find the required values for authentication in the guide.


           4. SMS-Magic is now enabled as an SMS provider.
          
How many integrationsAt any give point in time, only one of the listed SMS gateways can be configured to send SMS notifications.

II. Enable notifications

Illustration: Let us enable SMS notifications to be sent to customer when an appointment is rescheduled.
  1. Navigate to Workspaces > (Choose a workspace) > Notifications. There are two sections to configure notifications - one for the staff and the other for the customer. The For Staff section is selected by default.



  2. Select the events to send SMS notifications to staff. We will choose Rescheduled for the illustration.



  3. Click Customize against the checkbox for SMS. A pop-up appears with a pre-drafted response when an appointment is rescheduled.



  4. Click Insert to introduce dynamic booking-related values (like Customer name, Appointment Id, etc) using variables listed under each section. Click the Save button once done.
    SMS Length: Check if the length of the notification content is as required by ScreenMagic.


  5. SMS notifications are now set to be sent to staff when an appointment is Rescheduled under the One-on-One Consultations workspace. You can set SMS notification for customers as well in the same way.


III. Send SMS Notifications

  1. Zoho Bookings staff reschedules a booked appointment.



  2. SMS notification is sent to the staff.
