Start a Conversation
Create topics, discuss and make decisions faster with the chats in Zoho BugTracker. Start interacting with your colleagues on different topics. You can create private or public chat based on your business requirement.
- Click Discuss in the left navigation panel.
- Select Discuss over Chat in the drop-down.
- Click New Conversation in the upper-right corner.
- Select a project.
- Enter a title for the conversation.
- Add participants.
- Click Add.
- A new chat window is opened and ready for use.
- Participants can always come back to Discuss and click on the chat to communicate.

Manage Chats
- Hover over a chat > click
to edit / delete the chats.
- Click
to find specific chats.
- Click
to narrow down chats by project.
- Click the default status drop-down in the top band to update your status.
- Click the custom status drop-down in the top band to create your custom status or to set to default status.
- Click Check In to log in for the day.
Zoho People Integration is required to set status and Check In.
Start a Meeting
- Click Discuss in the left navigation panel.
- Select Discuss through Meeting in the drop-down.
- Click Schedule Meeting in the upper-right corner.
- Select a project.
- Enter meeting title.
- Enter the agenda.
- Add participants.
- Set meeting date and time.
- Click Save.
- A meeting invite is sent to participants.
Disable Chats
The chat can be disabled for the entire organization. This can be done by the Portal Owners and Admins.
- Navigate to
> Marketplace > Zoho Apps > Zoho Cliq.
- Hover over the Zoho Cliq tile and click Configure.
- Toggle the Disable Conversations settings.
