Milestone List View

Milestones are goal based targets in a project.

Click Milestones in the top navigation panel. You will see a list of milestones shown under two categories.
Click Projects and in the left navigation panel, select the project for which you would like to set milestones.

Add Milestone

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project for which you would like to add milestones and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Click Add Milestone in the upper-right corner of the page.
Give a name for your Milestone and set its Start and End Dates.
Select an Owner for the milestone.
Set the Milestone Flag. If the flag is Internal, only the portal users can access the milestone. If it is External, the client users can also access it.
Click Add.

Edit Milestone

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project for which you would like to edit milestones and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Hover over an active milestone.
Click or click the right mouse button, and select the Edit option.
Update the necessary fields. The changes will be saved automatically.

Hide Milestone Column

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Hover over the column name which you would like to hide.
Click the right mouse button.
Select Hide Column from the context menu.

Add Column

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Click Add column in the upper-right corner of the page.
Hover over the field which you would like to add as a column.
Click Add.

Move Milestone

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Hover over an active milestone.
Click or click the right mouse button, and select the Move option.
Select a project from the drop-down.
Click Move Milestone.

Clone Milestone

Milestones can be cloned to create a copy with Release Notes, Comments, Fields, and the latest status of the Milestone for the same project or for use in another project. Cloning a Milestone can be done within the same Project or from one Project/Project Template to another Project.

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Hover over an active milestone.
Click or click the right mouse button, and select the Clone option.

Clone a Milestone From One Project to Another

Click Projects in the left navigation panel and navigate to your project.
Select Milestones in the top band and click Add Milestone.
Check the box that says Clone from existing Milestone in the Layout.
Select the Project or Project Template you want to clone from the Project/Project Template drop-down.
Enter the other milestone details and Click Add.

Note: All the Milestone Information will be copied from the selected Project Milestone or Project Template.

Reorder Milestone

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project for which you would like to reorder milestones and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Click in the upper right corner of the milestone list view.
Click on the reorder icon and drag the milestone to the new position.
Click Save Order.

Export Milestone

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Click in the upper right corner of the milestone list view.
Click on the Export Milestones option.
Select the view and the file format.
Move the columns from the Available section to the Selected section. Fields in the Selected section will be exported.
Hover over a field in the Available section and click > to move it to the Selected section.
Conversely, hover over a field in the Selected section and click < to move it back the Available section.

Delete Milestone

Navigate to the left navigation panel and click Projects.
Hover over the project for which you would like to edit milestones and click Access Project.
Click the Milestones tab in the top navigation band.
Hover over an active milestone.
Click or click the right mouse button, and select the Delete option.
Confirm your action.
