2. Motor: Controls designed to assist users with limited fine motor skills, dexterity challenges, or mobility impairments. 
   

4. How to access the accessibility controls 

1. Navigate to the live mode of your application.
   
2. Click the  icon. The Accessibility Controls pane will slide in from the right.
   
3. Configure the desired accessibility controls.
   

      

You can reset the configured controls to default by clicking the Reset to Default option at the top-right of the Accessibility Controls pane.

5. Using Accessibility Controls in Zoho Creator

5.1 Screen reader

An assistive technology that converts text on the screen into spoken words. 

Zoho Creator does not offer a native screen reader, but it can be used with third-party screen readers. We recommend using standard screen readers listed below to safeguard your data. 

1. Mac's VoiceOver
   
2. Android's TalkBack
   
3. Microsoft's Narrator
   
4. JAWS
   
5. NVDA
   

In Creator, the configured screen reader reads content out loud only in live mode. Your users can invoke this control by pressing the keyboard shortcuts:

1. CTRL + (for Windows)
   
2. CMD + (for iOS)
   

5.2 Text Size

Users can choose their preferred text size for comfortable reading without having to zoom in and out multiple times. The size options provided include:

1. Small
   
2. Default
   
3. Medium
   
4. Large
   
5. Extra Large
   

The small font size offers a compact text display, which expands as the size increases. Users can click the Reset button to reset their text size to Default.

5.3 Zoom

Users can magnify or shrink the content in the live mode of your applications by a range of 25% to 150% and is compatible with your browser's zoom functionality. The layout of Creator remains fully functional when zoomed between 25% and 150%.

Users can invoke this control by pressing the keyboard shortcut:

CMD + +/-

where,

1. CMD + +  magnifies the content
   
2. CMD + - shrinks the content
   

5.4 Letter Spacing

Lets users set a preferred letter spacing to suit their reading style for improved legibility and reduced eye strain. There are four preset choices available as listed below for varying visual impact.

1. Normal
2. Medium
   
3. Narrow
   
4.  Wide
   

5.5 Mandatory Fields Display Format

Users can choose their preferred format to visually indicate mandatory form fields. Ensuring users can clearly identify mandatory fields in a form is essential since they need to know which fields are required to avoid missed inputs and form submission errors.

There are two options supported here, and they can preview the same. Screen reader users and those with cognitive disabilities rely on clear labels (e.g., “Mandatory") rather than just color-based cues like a red asterisk. 

1. Asterisk - Adds a red-colored asterisk beside the required mandatory form field.
   
2. Mandatory text - Adds  "Mandatory" beneath the mandatory form field. 
   

5.6 Underline Links

Adds an underline to hyperlinks to visually distinguish hyperlinks and makes them easy to identify and interact with. This lets your users click on a link only when they intend to. They can toggle the On button as required to enable this control. By default, this control will be toggled to Off.

5.7 Text Magnifier

Users can enlarge the text when hovering over it, while retaining the chosen font size and spacing. They can invoke this control by pressing the Option/Alt key.

5.8 Custom Cursor

Users can personalize the color and size of the cursor based on their preferences. This allows for easier tracking of cursor movements on their screen. Upon enabling this control, users can adjust the cursor size:

1. Small
   
2. Medium
   
3. Large
   

They can also choose between black or white cursor colors.

5.9 Color Filter

Users can modify screen colors to enhance visibility of texts, sections, buttons, scroll bar and other UI elements and also assist in color perception. This modifies the color contrast between the background color and the color of content on the screen. Upon enabling this control, users can choose the options given below. 

1. Greyscale - This color mode displays content using shades of gray.
   
2. Invert - This color mode reverses the colors on the screen, swapping light areas with dark ones and vice versa.
   
3. Protanopia (Red/Green)
   
4. Deuteranopia (Green/Red)
   
5. Tritanopia (Blue/Yellow)
   

5.10 Error Message Display Format

Users can choose the color of error messages or add an error icon to make it easier to spot and act on these messages. They can check the preview section to view how the error message will appear.

1. Error message color - Choose one of the accessible colors available from the color picker. This is useful for people with color vision impairments who may struggle to differentiate certain colors.
   
2. Show error icon with message - Choose this option to show an error icon along with the error messages. This is useful for who cannot differentiate any colors.
   

5.11 Quick Access

Enabling this control provides navigation shortcuts to your live application's header, space, main menu, and app content. 

Note: This can also be activated using Control + in the live mode of your application. Users can use the "tab key" to move to the next option in your app's live mode.

5.12 Highlight Disabled Fields

In Creator, disabled fields appear grayed out and might be missed by individuals with color vision issues. Enabling this control highlights the disabled fields for clearer identification and lets users know that they cannot use such fields.

They can toggle the On button as required to enable this control. By default, this control will be toggled to Off.
