You can manage your privacy settings under the Manage privacy tab in the Settings page. You can manage your Privacy controls and Personal data audit under the respective tabs using this option.
Note: This setting is only accessible to the Account and Organization admins of your organization.
Manage privacy controls
1. Click the Settings icon at the top right corner.
2. Select the Manage privacy tab from the side panel.
Privacy setting options
Secure data pipelines: When this option is enabled, all users in your organization are mandated to use at least one method to secure personal data in their datasets before exporting any. The methods available to secure personal data are data hiding, data tokenization, and data masking.
Do not let users to run pipelines without password protection for: When the this option is enabled, users cannot run pipelines without protecting the data with a password. You can choose one of the following options to apply this control password protection:
- All pipelines: This prevents users from running any pipeline without password protection.
- Pipelines with personal data: This prevents users from running those pipelines which include PII data or ePHI data without password protection.
Share workspaces and pipelines with support team: You can enable this option if you want to restrict users from sharing workspaces and pipelines with the DataPrep Support Team. Any actively shared ones will also be revoked if this option is enabled.
Personal data audit
You can review the personal data in all your pipelines and workspaces under the Personal data audit section. The pipeline name, workspace name and the number of columns containing PII and ePHI data are displayed in this section.
To review personal data
1. Click the Settings icon at the top right corner.
2. Select the Manage privacy tab from the side panel and click the Personal data audit option.
3. Select the required pipeline. The name of the stages and the columns containing PII and ePHI data will be shown. You can review the details.
