If you need to filter tickets by custom field values in conjunction with default parameters like an assigned agent or due date, and you don't want to construct a new ticket view every time, this extension is for you. The Advanced Ticket Filters extension allows you to choose from a variety of filters, including custom fields, to help you narrow down to tickets that you want to get working on next. Once found, you can simply click on the ticket to view its details in a new browser tab.

Installing the extension
The Advanced Ticket Filters extension can be installed either from the Zoho Marketplace or your Zoho Desk account. To install from Zoho Desk:
- Log into your Zoho Desk account with Administrator privileges
- Click the Setup icon (
) > Integrations > Marketplace.
- Search for 'Ticket Filters' in the search bar on the right.
- Select the Advanced Ticket Filters extension, and click Install.
- On the Confirm Installation page, agree to the terms and conditions and click Install.
- In the Advanced Ticket Filters Installation Setup page, do the following:
- Select the departments and profiles whose agents can access the extension in Zoho Desk.
- Agree to Terms of Use.
- Click Install.
The extension will be installed for the specified profiles and departments.
- Click Authorize in the pop-up window to activate the extension.
- Click Accept to allow Zoho Workflow to access data in your Zoho Desk account.
Once installed, the locations for accessing the extension will be displayed on the right side of the extension's detail page. The Advanced Ticket Filters extension can be accessed from the top band of your help desk.
Filtering Tickets
You can use a variety of filters, including custom fields, to narrow down tickets that you want to get working on next. To filter tickets:
- Click on the (
) icon in the top band (menu bar).
- Under Extensions, click Advanced Ticket Filters in the drop-down menu.

- In the Advanced Ticket Filters page, you can find various filter criteria listed on the left pane.
- Select the required filters and click Apply.
The tickets that match the chosen filter criteria will be displayed.

Uninstalling the Extension
You can uninstall the Advanced Ticket Filters extension at any time.
- Go to Setup > Integrations > Marketplace.
- On the Marketplace page, click Installed Extensions.
- Choose Advanced Ticket Filters for Zoho Desk from the list of extensions.
- Click the More icon (
) in the upper-right corner of the Advanced Ticket Filters for Zoho Desk page.
- Select Uninstall Extension.
- Click Confirm.
