Types of form fields available in pop-up
Input fields like first name, last name, email address, contact number, URL, and date in your pop-up are one of the best ways to collect details about your customer and connect with them in the future for better deals. These can be effectively used in newsletter subscription forms, sign-ups forms, and redeem offer forms to build a better email list and expand your business reach.
Zoho PageSense has some default form fields which you can edit or remove if required as follows:
Email field
To edit the email form field, select the Field Type as Email on your pop-up and enter your desired Field name and Placeholder content for the field where the the visitors can input their email address.
Text field
Number field
To edit the number form field, select the Field type as Number on the pop-up and enter your desired Field name and Placeholder content for the field where the visitor can input a number in the text box. The number field can be age, currency value, etc.
To edit the phone number form field, select the Field type as Phone number on your pop-up and enter your desired Field name and Placeholder content for the field where the visitor can input their telephone number in the text box. You can change the phone number formatting depending on your region.
Date field
To edit the date form field, select the Field type as Date on the pop-up and enter your desired Field name and Placeholder content in which the visitor can input the date value in the dd/mm/yy formatting. For example, enter 10 December 2019 as 10/12/19.
URL field
To edit the url form field, select the Field type as URL on your pop-up and enter your desired Field name and Placeholder content in which the visitor can input their website address in the text box.
Toggle on Set as Mandatory? to make it mandatory for users to fill in the email address field.
Enable Encrypt field to add an extra layer of security to visitors' information entered in the pop-up.
