The Settings page in Zoho Quartz provides centralized control over key configurations for managing your workspace. These settings provide admins with better control on how Zoho Quartz operates as per their organization's requirements.
Availability
This feature is accessible to admins of the Quartz workspace. This feature is available across all DCs(US, EU, IN, AU, CN, JP, SA, and CA).
Overview
The Settings page in Zoho Quartz allows admins to configure essential information like Workspace name and view the unique API key for their organization. It also provides options to enable department admin privileges for user management and set a retention period for feedback before it's moved to the trash.
Working with Settings
The Settings page can be accessed by clicking on the Settings option in the Dashboard menu.
The page contains the following configurations:
- Workspace Name: This field allows you to set or update the name of your workspace, ensuring it aligns with your organization's identity.
- Workspace API Key: This unique key is essential for integrating with external applications and services. This key is system-generated and cannot be modified.
- Department Admin Privilege: Enabling this option will facilitate smoother user management within your departments by delegating authority to add organization users to the department admins. This decentralized user management makes processes within your organization more efficient by reducing the need for intervention from higher-level administrators.
- Retention period: This allows you to control how long feedback remains in the Quartz workspace before it's automatically moved to the trash. This flexibility helps you manage data storage according to your organization's needs. By default, feedback is stored indefinitely, but you have the option to adjust the retention period to 1, 2, 3 or 6 months. Additionally, you can set a custom retention period for specific departments under the Department page. Learn more
