Tracker management helps you manages all trackers in your organization.
Open the Trackers module
Click Add Tracker
Enter tracker name
Select the tracking type
Always: RouteIQ Live Tracker periodically tracks the asset's location all the time and live tracks when requested.
Scheduled: RouteIQ Live Tracker periodically tracks the asset's location within the assigned shift hours and live tracks when requested within the shift.
For scheduled tracking type, select a shift hours from the dropdown or create a new shift.
Once the Tracker is added, the Activation Key needs to shared to the field agent or fleet operator, who then needs to activate the tracker by enter the key. Learn more about activating RIQ LT Agent.
Open the Trackers module
Click Add Tracker
Select tracking type as schedule
Click shifts dropdown
Click on Create
Enter the shift name
Select your timezone
Select the days your want to track and the time you want to start and end the shift.
Select "Same as everyday" if the shift starts and ends at the same time everyday.
Select the days you don't want to track. ex - non-workings days like public holidays, vacation days etc.
You can select the dates on the calendar or enter the dates in the field above and click "Add Dates".
Open the Trackers module
Click Add Tracker
Select tracking type as schedule
Click shifts dropdown
Click Show All
Hover over a shift hour and Click the three dot menu
Click Edit
This will open the edit shift page where the shift can be edited.
Open the Trackers module
Click Add Tracker
Select tracking type as schedule
Click shifts dropdown
Click Show All
Hover over the shift you want to delete and Click the three dot menu
Click Delete
All the trackers in your organization can be in a tabular form in the Tracker module.
Fields and the value store in them
Field Name | Value/Info Stored |
Tracker name | Stores the enter tracker name |
Tracker state | Stores the tracker's state like moving, idle, not reachable or misconfigured. |
Tracking Status | Stores whether the tracker is within tracking schedule |
Activation Status | Stores info the tracker has been activated by the field agent or operator |
Device Name | Stores the device name in which the tracker has been acitvated |
Platform | Store the platform of the device (Android or iOS) |
Tracking | Redirects you to history or live tracking module for the tracker |
Tracking Type | Store the tracking type of the tracker i.e. always or scheduled. |
Shift Name | Store the name of shift during which RouteIQ Live Tracker can track the agent's location |
Activation Key | Key which is used to activate RIQ LT Agent mobile app to track the location of the device. |
Last State Updated Time | Store the last time when the tracker's state was updated |
Last State Verified Time | Stores the last time when the tracker's state was verified by RouteIQ Live Tracker |
Last Live Data Collected Time | Stores the last time live location data was collected |
Last Periodic Data Collected Time | Stores the last time periodic location data was collected

Hover over a tracker and click the three dot menu
Click Edit
You can edit the tracker details here:
Tracker Name
Tracking Type
Shift (if tracking type is scheduled)
Unlinking a tracker deactivates the tracker RIQ LT Agent mobile app in the field agent or fleet operator's mobile phone and stops RouteIQ Live Tracker from tracking their location.
Hover over a tracker and click the three dot menu
Click Unlink
Deleting a tracker removes the configured tracker in RouteIQ Live Tracker and deactivates the RIQ LT Agent mobile app.
Hover over a tracker and click the three dot menu
Click Delete
