Zoho Show provides different slide views including the Normal View, Master View, and Sorter View to help you easily manage presentations. These views are available in a dropdown at the bottom of the Show Editor, with Normal View as the default option.
Each view is designed for a specific purpose. In Show, you can switch views using the dropdown and return to the Normal View to edit your content anytime.
Normal View
Normal View is the editing mode that allows you to create and design presentations. This view provides thumbnail of slides on the left, drawing board in the center, a contextual toolbar on the right, a comprehensive toolbar at the top, and a toolbar at the bottom.
In addition to adding text in this mode, you can also include different objects from the top bar, and enhance them using the right panel.
To access the Normal View in Show,
- Open the required presentation in the Show Editor. Normal View will be displayed by default.
Master View
Master View allows you to quickly modify the Master slide or its following layouts. This view helps you to enhance the look and feel of your presentation using formatting options such as background colors, fonts, styles, visuals, headers, footers, and effects.
When you edit the Master slide, changes will reflect on all slides in the presentation. This way, you can customize all your decks in just a few clicks. You can also modify slide layouts individually without altering the Master. The changes you make will reflect on the slides following that layout in your presentation.
To access the Master View in Show:
- Open the required presentation in the Show Editor and click the View dropdown at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Master View from the dropdown list. From here, you can edit the Master and slide layouts.
Note: You can also access the Master using the Edit Master Slide option at the bottom of the right panel in the Show Editor.
Sorter View
Sorter View allows you to preview all the slides in your presentation as thumbnails in a single window. The miniature version of the decks makes it easy for you to quickly rearrange the slides in a proper sequence. You can add, delete, duplicate, lock, and play slides using this option. The view also allows you to hide or show slide decks.
The Sorter View is also useful when you want to quickly review your slide formats and styles before delivering your presentation.
To access the Sorter View in Show:
- Open the required presentation in the Show Editor and click the View dropdown at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Sorter View from the dropdown list. From here, you can organize slides based on your requirements.
