Upon setting Trident as the default email client, clicking any mailto links or .eml files will directly open Trident, helping you save time by keeping all email actions consistent and efficient.
To make Trident the default email client:
Open Trident.
Click Trident from the menu bar.
Select Set As Default Mail App from the menu list.
To remove Trident as the default email client and choose an alternate one:
Launch Finder and navigate to Applications.
Find and open Mail.
In the menu bar, click Mail.
Select Settings from the menu list.
Navigate to the General page.
Click open the Default email reader drop-down.
Select the desired email client from the list of options.
