How to Apply Multi-Column Layout to a Document?

Steps to Create a Multi-Column Layout
Open Column Settings
-
Go to the Format menu (or the right-side Page Layout panel).
Choose Columns.

Choose the Number of Columns
-
Select One, Two, or Three columns from the presets.
For custom layouts, choose More Columns… to specify:

Number of columns
-
Width of each column
-
Spacing between columns
-
Whether to add a divider line
-
-
Apply the Columns
-
The text instantly flows into the chosen number of columns.

Additional Options
-
Column Breaks: Insert a column break (Insert > Break > Column Break) to manually move content to the next column.
