How to remove the header and footer from a document?

You can remove them using the below two options.

1. Go to More Options(☰) > Page Setup > Layout > Margins > from the drop down list choose Custom Margins. Once Custom Margins is chosen, set the values for Top and Bottom as "0".

2. Click & drag the vertical ruler towards the top of the editor completely to remove the header. In case of footer, click and drag the vertical ruler towards the bottom of the editor completely to remove the footer.
