Why is the shortcut for comments not working?
The shortcut for comments will not function with certain keyboard layouts. For example, it will not function when using the English India (qwerty) keyboard. This issue can be resolved by changing the keyboard layout to US (qwerty).
The reason being that some keyboard layouts like the English India (qwerty) keyboard we talked about earlier, consider the crtl + alt key as AltGr (right alt key), which is used to show special characters. As a result, on such keyboard layouts, the ctrl+alt shortcuts are assigned to entering special characters, thus blocking the shortcuts.
