Hello users,
Welcome back to our "Accounting On-the-Go" series. Today, we'll see how Zoho Books makes managing calls a breeze. We all appreciate a bit of peace and quiet, right? Yet, a barrage of incoming calls can disrupt that peace. It's easy to miss an important call when your phone is ringing off the hook. That's where our Caller ID feature comes in.
Picture this: you're dealing with lots of clients in Zoho Books, but you don't want all of them crowding up your phone's address book. No worries, though. When an unknown number calls you, and it happens to match one of your Zoho Books customers' numbers, here's what happens. Your iOS device will simply suggest the name associated with that number in Zoho Books. You instantly know who's calling, without having to search your contacts or struggle to remember who's who.
Supported OS: iOS
How it works:
➤ Open the Zoho Books iOS app on your mobile device.
➤ Tap on "More" at the bottom of the screen and scroll down to find the "Settings" button. Tap on it.
➤ In the "Settings" menu, scroll down and navigate to the "Privacy and Security" section.
➤ Look for the "Caller ID" option and enable it.
➤ Now, exit the Zoho Books app and go to your iPhone's general settings.
➤ Scroll down and select "Phone" from the list.
➤ In the "Phone" settings, click on "Call Blocking & Identification."
➤ Enable the Zoho Books app from the list of apps.
That's it! Now, when you receive a call on your iPhone, if the caller's number matches one of your Zoho Books' contacts, your iPhone will suggest the Books contact name.
It's about decluttering your contacts, prioritising your calls, and staying on top of your client interactions.
Why not give it a try? Download the mobile app from this link or simply scan the QR code and see this feature in action.
