Why am I being asked for a verification code even after using my trusted browser?

Trusted browsers rely on information stored in the browser cookies. Your browser may be clearing cookies after you sign out of a session. Follow the steps given below to ensure you are not asked for a verification code even after using your trusted browser.

Google Chrome:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Click Privacy and security, then click Cookies and other site data.
  3. Uncheck Clear cookies and site data when you quit Chrome.

Mozilla Firefox:

  1. Go to Options.
  2. Click Privacy & Security, then go to the history section.
  3. Use the Firefox will dropdown to choose Use custom settings for history.
  4. Uncheck Clear history when Firefox closes.


  1. Go to Preferences.
  2. Click Privacy.
  3. Uncheck Block all cookies.
