I created a new list and added contacts to it accidentally instead of adding them to an existing list. What can I do now?
In this scenario, where you've added the contacts to a new list accidentally, you can make use of the Merge List option.
For example, you have List A which contains 150 contacts, and you're looking to add 100 more contacts to it. You created List B for a different set of contacts, but instead added the contacts intended for List A to this list. Merge list option can merge the contacts of two lists and place them in a single list.
Let's check how we can use this option:
- From the Navigation Toolbar to the left, click Contacts and select Manage Lists.
- At the top-right, click the More button.
- Click Merge Lists.
- In the page that appears, select List B in the From List field and List A in the To field.
- If needed, you can select the "Delete "From Lists" after merging." option to delete List B.
Note: You can select more than one list in the From List field. If you want to merge the contacts of two or more lists to a different list, you can select those lists in the From List field.
